May 2022 ESD 20 Regular Monthly Meeting

TO:   THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO. 20 IN OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND TO ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Government Codes Section 551.001, 551.054, and 551.125, as amended, that the Board of Commissioners of Harris County Emergency Services District No. 20 will meet in Regular session, open to the public, at 7:15 P.M. on Thursday, May 12th, 2022. 

The meeting will be held at the District’s Station No. 44 located at 12820 T.C. Jester Blvd., Houston, Texas, 77038.  At least three Commissioners must be physically present at the meeting to constitute a quorum. 

At this meeting, which is open to the public, the Commissioners will consider and act upon the following matters:

  1. Call to order.
  2. Comment from the Public.
  3. To discuss status of minutes from previous meeting(s) and take any necessary action.
  4. Treasurer’s report:
  5. Ratify checks.
  6. Pay bills.
  7. Department Payroll Expense
  8. Review Sales Tax Reports/Review Account
  9. To discuss and take any necessary action on the sales tax payback letter received from Texas comptroller
  10. Fire Department report:
  11. Training
  12. Calls
  13. To discuss and take any necessary action to amend the Department’s 2022 Budget.
  14. To schedule the June 2022 District Meeting.
  15. To discuss and take any necessary action concerning District property.
  16. Attorney’s Report: Other Issues and Matters
  17. EXECUTIVE SESSION: To discuss and take action on personnel issues, current or contemplated litigation, and/or possible real property acquisition or sale, pursuant to applicable laws and statutes.
  18. To take any necessary action from Executive Session.
  19. Adjournment
